Susan and I welcome you to our home Red Barn View. All three floors of the house will be open and as always vintage campaign memorabilia will be on display in the basement from Caroline County and the state of Virginia. We’re VERY excited about the kick off this year! Just as in 2011, our old fashioned stumping platform will be filled with candidates running for office county-wide invited to talk about their vision for the county. We’ve invited our Congressmen, Senators and a few delegates as well to talk about issues in D.C. and at the state capital which affect Caroline County, Virginia.
This year, the children’s area will be headlined by Roxie the Clown and Fantasy Face Painting and will again be in the side yard so bring the family, the more the merrier. We will have hot dogs and chips for our little ones as well. The front yard wine tent will feature special wines made only in Virginia. D&J Meats will be returning with barbecued chicken and sides. We are even more excited about our live entertainment this year which will be the one and only “Reunion Band” so this is the one you won’t want to miss.
